Odessa police assaulted an elderly man thinking he was riding a stolen bicycle, only later to realise that the bike he was riding was of a different colour.

The man they assaulted has a disability, is a veteran of labour and a chairman of the public organisation “Chess School ‘Otrada’ ”.

The man received injuries of moderate severity.

Interesting fact is that the police never apologised.

A man was unlawfully arrested by the new police using physical force right in front of the Chief of Ukrainian National Police Khatia Dekanidze and MP Serhiy Leshchenko.

A man was unlawfully arrested by the new police using physical force right in front of the Chief of Ukrainian National Police Khatia Dekanidze and MP Serhiy Leshchenko.

The video clearly shows that the man did nothing illicit and only expressed his own opinion without bad language.

Why did the new police decide to apply physical force and which legislation were they following acting that way?

Why did neither the Chief of Ukrainian National Police Dekanoidze nor MP Leshchenko react to the obvious unlawful act of the new police?

The whole situation of the man being forcefully arrested for no legal reason is unjustified.
